The Role:

As our Summer Camp Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare services, promoting safety, and contributing to the overall well-being of our camp community. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a close-knit team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Healthcare Support: Provide routine medical care, manage medications, and address minor injuries and illnesses for campers and staff.

• Health Records: Maintain accurate health records for all campers and ensure that medical information is up-to-date.

• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with local medical facilities if necessary.

• Health Education: Offer health and wellness guidance to campers and staff, promoting a culture of well-being.

• Medication Management: Administer and track medications in accordance with our camp's policies and procedures.

• Collaboration: Work closely with our camp team to ensure a safe and healthy camp environment.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.

• CPR and First Aid certification.

• Experience in pediatric or camp nursing is a plus.

• Compassion, patience, and a dedication to providing exceptional care.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
